"Lost" in Queretaro

This Thursday I visited the house of Guri.
I told my mother that I`m gonna be at home at 7 o`clock. At 5.30 p.m. I left her house. My family told me that I have to take the bus "N", so I took the "N" BUT of course in the wrong direction. After half an hour I noticed that I`m totally wrong. The bus drove up an hill, this neighbourhood looked quite strange. Iwas really scared. I asked the busdriver if he is gonna pass the "Plaza Sendero" and he told me that he just came from there and that he`s gonna turn now. So I waited, he had to clean the bus first, and then he took me to the "Plaza Sendero". I sat in this stupid bus for 1 1/2 hours! But I`m glad that I came home safe. Queretaro is so big!

D`Guri und ich sind i eme Lade gsi, grad am zahle, wo ploetzlich alli Liechter usgange sind! D`Luet hend afa schreie :-) hehe. Es isch mega funny gsi. Sind leider nur espaar Segunde gsi, het welle oeppis chlaue ;-) joke. Isch einmalig gsi.
Genauso hemmer kei vor 2 Wuche kei Strom ka ide Schuel. Die ersti Stund isch de usgfalle :-) es hend alli nochli doerfe schlafe.

Winter het agfange...

Die Wuche am 23.Oktober het de Winter agfange. S`einzige Thema etz grad isch d`Chaelti, alli redet drueber. Ide Schuel laufets met Deckene ume :-) es isch eigentli garned so chalt. Ide Nacht und am Morge (ca. 5 ºC) halt scho, aber am Namitag wenn d`Sunne schiint isches so um die 15-20 ºC. Ich gang huet en Jagge ga chaufe und es warms Pischii :-) well leider isches glich chalt im Huus wie dusse. Brrr...vermisse d`Bodeheizig. Und s`beschte natuerli, es het im Moment keis warms Wasser. Muess immer Wasser ufchoche und mich denne met eme grosse Becher dusche. Met mim lange Haar isch da en zemmli Qual und denne no espaar Stunde warte bes es troche isch, ayay. Mir hend scho es Luxus-Lebe ide Schwiiz.
Chan grad ned Fottis uf de Compi lade well er futsch isch. Gang vellicht mal is Internet-Cafe.

My father bought a car :-) so cool! I was watching TV when suddenly my father came and told me that he has got a surprise for me. I was quite confused. We went outside and there was a car, hehe. That was a really big surprise.
Every Thrusday I´m going to an extra English class. I have to talk with the students, the teachers want that they to speak English. It´s like a voluntary work for my school, it´s ok :-)

Montag:
D´Guri isch zu mir heicho, mini Mueter het Kartoffelstock gmacht, niammi! Vermisse s´Schwizeresse scho es bitz: Schoggi, Brot und Salat! Nachem Esse simmer euses Fitness-Abo ga loese. 100 Meter vo mim Huus hets es Fitness-Center. Es het au zwoi Ichaufszenter, es Kino und en Bank. So ich han alles ide noechi woni bruche, es fehlt eifach en Post.
Dienstag:
Es isch weder en normale Tag gsi :-) Schuel- Esse - Fernseh - Schlafe.
Mittwoch:
D´Guri isch weder zu mir heicho. Mir sind zum erste Mal is Fitness, die erste paar Minute ufem Laufband sind so schief gsii. hehe. Mer hend eusi Bei, euse Buuch, Rugge, Brust und Aerm trainiert. Bin nachdem hei ga dusche und denne scho ga schlafe :-) ich schlafe u vill da.
Donnerstag:
Ich bin met eme riise Muskelkater ufgwacht, han ja siit langem nuemme so rechtig Sport tribe. Ide Schuelhani scho Sport aber nur zwoi easy Stunde. AmMaentig machemer verschedenigi Uebige und dehnet und am Mittwoch spile mer Fuessball.
Am Abig hend alli Schueler weder it Schuel muesse. Het en Gottesdienst ge. Isch nur oeppe 1 Stund gsi. Bin nachem Gottesdienst met mine Bruedere und mim Vater ga Tacos esse. Es isch so fein! Es lauft immer oeppis ide Stadt.
Freitag:
Die erst Stund am Fritig isch Englisch, aber mer choend immerMathi lerne i dere Stund :-) hend jede Fritig en Mathipruefig, ich wuenscht Mathi wer soeifach ide Kanti wie da! Schlussendlich hani d´Mathipruefig ned muesse schribe well ich am Gottesdienst gsi bin, alli wo ned awesend gsi sind hend muesse d´Pruefig schribe. Han kei Ahnig wieso, naja :-)
Spoeter hani no en Physikpruefig ka, de Physiklehrer isch en zemmli komische, er isch uu haessig wurde well d´Klass ned ruhig gsi esch. Er het d´Pruefige afo im Klassezimmer umeschmeisse und alli sini Buecher au.Wow, han no nie oepperso gse usraste, wie de gfluecht het, mer sind denne jedefalls schoen brav gsi und hend d´Pruefig gschribe. Mer hend choene met eusne Notize schaffe, also d.h. ich han alles choene abschribe, isch zu eifach gsi.
Am 2 hani denne us ka. Ich gang jede Fritig met de Guri, em Thomas und de Melissa is Italian Coffee. Mir redet und hend immer en gueti Ziit. Nachem Coffee simmer de ga Schueh poste fuer de Thomas und mis Natel. Han etz endlich en mexikanischi Nummere. Am 5i hani d´Anaid und de Daniel troffe. Eigentli hemmer welle ga Tacos esse, sind aber schlussendlich inere Pizzeria glandet. D´Anaid und de Daniel sind scho siit zwoi Jahr zeme, mega suess. Sie send mega lieb, machet immer oeppis met eus Ustuschschueler. Mir hends immer so loschtig, lachet die ganzi Ziit oeber eusi Fehler :-) am halbi 8ti bini scho hei, ich wett ned alei Bus fahre wenns dunkel isch. Fuehl mi nonig so wohl demet. Bin denne alei (mini Familie lat mich scho alei la sache mache, isch uu cool) bin oeppe 1 Stund im Bus ghocket, es het sovill Verkehr ka...
Huet isch Samstig, ich gang met minere Familie a e Fiesta also werd huet wedermal vill esse :-) murn treff ich d´Guri ide Stadt. Es isch so schoen ide Stadt umezlaufe, Fruecht chaufe oder anderi Sache, es isch alles so schoen farbig. Queretaro isch so en schoeni Stadt. Da isch Bade grad mega grau und langwilig.
Nechst Wuche hani de mega vill Pruefige, werd amuesant! Versta ned sovill, lerne au ned, es zaehlt ja sowieso ned.

Mini Sprachfehler...

When I came to Querétaro, I didn´t speak that much Spanish. In the beginning I always talked Italian and I made the words sound like Spanish. They understood me :-) so it worked. Now, I CAN NOT speak Italian anymore, I try but it is impossible. It is too similar, I mix all the words. And with French it´s the same problem instead of "ici" y say "aqui" etc. Thomas and me try to talk French to each other but we always give up after ten minutes, we are too lazy to think! I feel like I´m getting really stupid and lazy.
My funniest mistakes:
1) primavera = spring, primera = first: I always said instead of primera - primavera...
2) cuarto = room, cama = bed: Me and my friends were talking about taking people into your room (in Mexico you don´t do it) and I said: I can take all of my friends into my bed...jajaja...Later I noticed that it was totally wrong, so I explained it to my friends.
3) primo = cousin, primero = first: I was talking about my wisdom teeth, my cheek was hurting and I said: This is my cousin, he hurts a lot. :-)
4) avion = airplane, camion = bus: I told my brother: Oh let´s take the airplane! He is still making fun of that...
5) papas = potatoes, papás = parents: honestly, I don´t know if I made this mistake :-)

La vida en México...

How is school-life in Queretaro? It starts at 7 o´clock, the schoolbell rings like 3 times before school starts. In EVERY lesson the teacher reads every name out loud to check if all the students are present. And then we say: "¡Presente!" or "¡Aqui!" or "¡Yo!" :-) every lesson, 7 times a day, 35 times a week...If you don´t wear the right color of your school uniform, there are different colors for every day, then you have to go home and put the right shirt on. And if you´re too late, you can´t enter, you have to sit outside the classroom and wait. But my teachers, they are really relaxed and they don´t care if I don´t work, except my math teacher (of course!). Every teacher has to carry his own "tiza, Kreide"....

Oh did you know that...
1) the math teacher looks like Tom Hanks

2) the Individuo y Sociedad maestro looks like and talks like my grandfather

3) the religion teacher looks like Osama bin Laden (says Oscar) or Jesus (says Guri)

My English teacher makes a lot of mistakes like: childrens...but Thomas and I, we don´t say anything. We go once a month to church with the whole school and the boys aren´t allowed to have longer hair than 15 cm.

So how is life at home? It´s like an adventure, I never know what we are going to do. My parents tell me that we´re going to my aunts but in the end we´re shopping. They have told me a lot of times: "This weekend we´re going to the cinema." We have never been to the cinema :-) I always have to be prepared for everything! Their lifestyle is really relaxed, they like to eat, I think Mexicans have got a huge stomage, they can eat so much! And they like to sleep, my family is sleeping all the time. Helado = Ice cream, but in Mexico they call it Nieve = Snow, so the first time they asked me if I wan´t to have some Ice cream I was really confused :-) Do you want to have some snow?

Mexicans drink a lot! Tequila, Cerveza, Licor...at parties they always try to get me drunk. They dance a lot and really good, they feel the music, hehe. I was at a party yesterday (5.10.07), the party was outside and there was a little swimming pool, so all the muchachos jumped into it! With cloths! It was freezing cold, crazy people, it was really amusing. Anaid, Daniel, Guri and me went to eat tacos, the food is soooo good and cheap here! In Querétaro the stores close like at 10 o´clock, so you can go shopping and eating at night.
