- “Ahorita”(= in a second) means later, unless its told in a raised voice tone, in which case it really means “now”
- “Al rato”(= later) means “I don’t know when”; if its said in a raised voice tone it means “never” - 5 pm means 5:30 pm…
- You should always eat something in the street after a party is over…that way no one can smell the alcohol in your breath
- Get yourself a shirt that reads: “No soy gringa”
- Mexican people name everything with cheese as “swiss”
